“We are all in this together”
A few lines that meandered in my mind when I saw it.
A couple of days have passed since I last saw those familiar faces. I can still rekindle the events that happened in my few days of stay back there. Those times we spent just chatting like there’s no tomorrow; The strolls in the beach even after twilight; The fizz of our 8 oz. Coke while we listen to each others juicy share of gossips; Savoring our Halo-halo feeling exuberant in a local resort; and the time we gather at the plaza to witness a local talent search.
Myriad thoughts rushes in my mind when I see a picture or two of them. It seems effortless to think of a moment we have had back then.
How time flies. Now we are back into our own streaks of paths but one way or another I still yearn for that few days of stay with them. It may be difficult to fathom how we manage to inculcate a certain link that defies distance and time but one thing’s for sure:
That we are all in this together.
